don’t let the crowds beat you at acadia national park ⎮ EP 7

I can’t say Acadia National Park was a bucket list destination for us, mainly because we didn’t know about it. Now that we have been, it is a place we highly recommend. We tried to get tickets to Cadillac Mountain, but they sold out in 15 seconds. 30% of the tickets were released 90 days in advance, and 70% were released 72 hours in advance at 10am. Since we didn’t get access to watch the sunrise, we hiked out to Schooner Head and watched the sunrise. This was a spot recommended by Park Rangers to go. We stayed at the Bar Harbor KOA, about a 15 min drive into the National Park. We recommend getting the Keep America Beautiful National Park Pass.
